My name is Kristen Kimbley and I am one of the owners and Directors at Country Day Academy. I have over 20 years of experience working with children in many different capacities. I am originally from California, the Bay Area. I have lived in SC since 2012. I am a mother of four fun, outgoing boys. My passion for children and love of education has driven me to create Country Day Academy. When I am not working, I love to spend time traveling, shopping and with friends. As a parent and educator, I strive to offer a center where children can get back to social and emotional learning, being outdoors, and exploring academics through hands-on learning.
Carley Hancock
Assistant Director
My name is Carley Hancock and I have been working in childcare for about 6 years. I have been at Country Day Academy since 2021 and started in the two year old classroom, moved to the infants and now working as the assistant director. I have lived in South Carolina for five years and have six beautiful nieces and nephews. I love to travel, read, and spend time with family and friends. As assistant director I believe in the growth and happiness of each child in our program and have an open door policy for our teachers and parents here at Country Day Academy.
